Stop One – China Hangzhou Cuisine Museum (The Qiantang River).
This is the first step to learn about the cuisine of Hangzhou in the aspects of culture, history and ingredients and so on. Hangzhou Cuisine Museum exhibits the authentic foods that the local people eat everyday, and also some food that the young generation does not know how to cook. In general, the museum includes three parts for displays – the exhibition zone, the experience zone and the operation zone. The latter two are the main parts in the museum.

Stop Two – The Snack Alley of Hefang Old Street (The West Lake).
We take a visit to Hefang Street, which the tourists prefer staying to enjoy the local authentic snacks. The snack alley here is always full of people, especially the young travelers. They are full of mouth water waiting for the snacks cooked on the fire. Also, there are many time-honored restaurants here serving their own strongpoint of cooking. Also some of them like Yuletang are mixed with others such as the operas, teahouses or comic dialogues.
Gaoyin Gourmet Street is an important extension of Hefang Old Street. It is full of the centuries-old brand restaurants here such as Huangfaner, Zhiweiguan, Xiaoshaoxing and so on. It is really a paradise of gourmets, even all of the cuisines of Hangzhou could be easily found here.
By the way the night fair here is also popular. Along the Imperial Thoroughfare of Southern Song Dynasty, there are lots of night food and snack booths on both sides. They offer the authentic, delicious but cheap food of the folk Hangzhou.
